Outlaws Dominate Oregon Lightning 58-7, Move One Step Closer to Playoffs

Billings Now 5th in Standings with One Final Home Game Left in Crucial Playoff Push

The Outlaws returned to TDS Fiber Field at MetraPark in dominant fashion Sunday night, cruising past the Oregon Lightning with a commanding 58-7 victory. The win moves Billings to 4-6 on the season and into 5th place in the league standings, just one spot shy of playoff qualification.

The tone was set early when Antwan Smith forced a turnover, giving the Outlaws immediate momentum. From there, the offense and defense delivered a statement. Darius Prince continued his standout season with multiple touchdowns and a 2-point conversion, while Hunter Swoboda powered in four rushing touchdowns, proving once again why he’s such a valuable piece of this team.

The defense showed out as well — Jamaar Moore grabbed two interceptions, and Dwayne Hollis sealed the deal with a pick-six, energizing the home crowd. Kicker Dean Faithfull added a deuce, keeping the scoreboard rolling in every phase of the game.

This victory was not only dominant but crucial. With just one home game left and two regular season games total, the Outlaws are now in full playoff mode. Only the top 4 teams advance to the playoffs, which kicks off the weekend of June 21st — and the Outlaws are knocking on the door.
